We celebrated Bubba's birthday on Thursday night, the day before his birthday. We had a great time. Uncle Russ had just flown in that day. After dinner, Grandma and Grandpa Wilding and Great-Grandma Buttle and Uncle Ammon and Aunt Kaely and Aunt Rose and Aunt Heidi came over. We started the party by watching Seth play with balloons and just talking. Seth LOVES balloons.
After not too long we opened some gifts. The birthday boy was easily distracted by the gifts and didn't want to keep opening more. Thank you all for your kindness. His aunts (and later his uncle) had some special gifts in playing piano songs for him.

After presents, we showed everyone the cake. Seth became rather scared when we turned out the lights, and lit the candles and began singing. Poor kid. He recovered pretty quickly, though, thoroughly enjoying his cake. He did like the ice cream, but it got too cold for him very quickly.
We washed up our little dude, then showed off his signing talents by watching a fast-forwarded version of "Signing Time" with Seth dancing and signing.
His party officially ended with his bath (AFTER everyone had left) and bedtime routine.

That cake looks wonderful! Did you decorate it? That must've taken a lot of time to idividually dot/frost the whole bear! What a cutie Seth is.
