After the days at Disneyworld, the Tharps (my sister Mandy's family) came and picked us up, and drove us down to their home. That first evening we went to the beach, and there was a full moon! Gorgeous (and salty).
The next day we drove down to part of the Everglades, and walked along a path, looking at alligators and exotic birds. We lunched at an amazing Indian food buffet. Crazy good.
Sunday we went with the Tharps to their ward meetings. That evening, Mandy and Tapa made some of their AMAZING chicken curry. So yummy! We then played Balderdash, a game that they had given us for our birthdays the prior year.
Monday, before we flew home to Texas, we toured Nova (Southern Flordia University?) campus. On the way there and back, we saw several iguanas. Sadly, my camera battery died, but we did get one good shot of an iguana in a tree before it died (the camera battery, not the iguana--silly antecedents).
We had SO much fun with Mandy and Tapa and their sweet children, Ari and JJ. Daniel read several books to Ari, and we just loved holding little JJ. Seth was in awe of the baby and loved Ari (and her toys).
Thank you for the wonderful time!!

I was wondering if you got to see Mandy and Tapa while you were in Florida. Looks like a fun visit!
Fun post! I was so happy to have you guys for a visit. Miss you and hope we'll see you again very soon--in Texas or Florida.
That "was" one big Iguana!!! :)
Looks like you had a great time with the Tharps like we do. What fun to spend time with family!
