One of Seth's favorite words is "under." He loves climbing under the crib. He will climb under the piano to play the pedals. Any time he can be under things, he loves to put himself there and declare that he is under. Chairs, the table, you name it, and he will be under.
One of Seth's favorite things to do is to go into our library closet and select a game to play. Chinese checkers, dominos, mancala, and chess are the go-to games. He'll play with the pieces any way that tickles his fancy. Daniel actually taught him the names of all of the pieces for chess, so he does know what they are, but not what they do.
One time Daniel had the idea of playing a game under a blanket. Ever since then, Seth has always requested a blanket whenever they have played a game together. They pull a game out, and Seth asks, "under?" Here's an idea of how it works:
